Monday, Nov. 27

  • The dogs are back! De-stress with dog therapy at both COQ & NW campus from 11am to 3pm. Presented by DSU.

  • The Music Department presents An Evening of Jazz featuring the Douglas College Night Band and the Douglas College Dues Band. 7:30pm in the Laura C. Muir Performing Arts Theatre. Admission is free!

Tuesday, Nov. 28

DSU Holiday Event at COQ campus from 10:30am to 6:30pm in the Atrium. There will be a free holiday lunch at 11am, holiday movies, and photos with Santa. Holiday movies start at 10:30am and include: Elf, The Grinch and The Polar Express.

Wednesday, Nov. 29

  • DSU Holiday Event at NW campus from 10:30am to 6:30pm in the concourse. There will be a free holiday lunch at 11am, holiday movies, and photos with Santa. Holiday movies start at 10:30am and include: Elf, The Grinch and The Polar Express.

 

 

  • It’s the end of semester! Join the party at DSU 208 from 6-8pm with refreshments, conversations and games.

  • The Music Department presents Music for Winds, Brass and Percussion featuring the Douglas College Concert Band and the Percussion Ensemble along with a guest high school band. 7:30pm in the Laura C. Muir Performing Arts Theatre. Admission is free!

Thursday, Nov. 30

  • Join Douglas College faculty, staff and other students at 10:05am, 12:05pm or 1:05pm and learn about the new Aboriginal Garden next to the Aboriginal Gathering Place. The garden features medicinal and spiritual plants that will help enhance the Aboriginal Gathering Place. Refreshments will be served.
  • Arts at One presents Student Showcase Concert at 1pm in the Laura C. Muir Performing Arts Theatre. Admission is free!

Instagram @cityofcoquitlam Lights at Lafarge 2016

Come see the spectacular lights display at Lafarge Lake in Coquitlam across from COQ campus. The lake lights up in the evening to reveal a winter wonderland. Douglas College hosts the Lights at Lafarge Dec. 1st from 6:30pm to 8:30pm with carolers, giant jenga, candy giveaways, and the crafts area where re-purposed plastic bottles will be lit together for a beautiful display.
