Humans of DC: Twinning
By Douglas College Student Life
“We took swimming lessons together when we were younger and the teacher would always get us confused. Our mom would purposely dress us in different-coloured bathing suits, but I don’t know if the teacher could ever actually tell us apart. It’s funny because now we both teach swimming we can’t tell the twins in our classes apart either. People assume that because we’re twins we have magical powers that let us tell other twins apart- we don’t. People still confuse us now that we’re both at Douglas. We’re actually at separate campuses though: all of my classes are in Coquitlam and all of hers are in New West. It’s the first time we have ever been in different schools.”
