Building a business from the ground up is no mean feat, but Devlin Pereira has an apt role model: his father. “Watching my dad grow a simple company into a successful corporation really honed the importance of business in my life,” he says.
Devlin took the first step toward creating his own successful company by enrolling in the Bachelor of Business Administration – Financial Services program at Douglas. Though still a student, he’s already putting what he’s learned into action at his position with an HR firm.
“My education is giving me the foundation to fully understand the concepts I’m working with every day,” he says, adding: “It’s fascinating to discover just how much business truly affects each and every one of us on a daily basis.”
